Beloved brethren, it is our custom every year to seek the face of the Lord and wait on Him in Prayer and Fasting for 40 Days and nights. Our Lord Jesus Christ started his ministry on the earth in the same way, having a 40 Days of Prayer and fasting in isolation while he sought the face of God and prepared himself for a 3-year ministry, but the impact of these 40 Days and 40 nights Prayer and fasting is what is still shaking the heavens and earth even after several millenniums. I believe, within these 40 days and nights, we too can make tremendous power available that will cause so much impact in our lives and in our world and will put us several years ahead of our peers.

Each year, the spirit of God directs us to concentrate on a specific area which we call the theme of the season, last year, the Holy spirit taught and engaged us on everything there is to know about HELP FROM ABOVE and how only this kind of help can truly be beneficial to his saints. This year He wants to help us dissect the MYSTERY OF TIMES AND SEASONS.
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck out that which is planted;” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
The scriptures have been plain and clear about the character of God, and one major factor in His character is that the God we serve, is a God of time and seasons. Many have lost their way in life, some have lost their calling into ministry all because they missed the timing of God for their lives. On the other hand, many people have also been brought into their inheritance because they understand the times and seasons.
Daniel was a righteous man who understand the timing of God through written prophecies, the moment he observed that it is time for a change, he immediately went into prayer and fasting, to make demands of God based on his prophecies.

Nehemiah was a man of like mind, who served a king in a strange land but never lost his passion for his country Israel, and when it was the right time, God gave him the approval of the king along with the resources he needs to rebuild the walls of Israel.

Elijah was a powerful prophet who terrorized the king of Israel for his wrongdoings, when it was time for Elijah to pray, he got down on his knees and prayed fervently, but something important Elijah did, while he was praying, he sent his servant Elisha to observe the weather, three times, Elisha went, because Elijah understood that he must only stop praying when it was the perfect time to stop. He understood the mystery of times and seasons.
Our lord and master, Jesus Christ told us of the importance of times and the power that rules different times and seasons:
John 9: 4 “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”
Luke 22:53 “When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

There is a time and a season for every work the Lord has called us to do, and if we miss that time by negligence, or ignorance or by delays from the power of darkness, then the night takes over, when no man can work!

This book has been put together to help people know how to navigate their way through the mysteries of times and seasons, to help people become as the sons of Issachar who understood the times and know what is expected for the current time they are in.

This manual will help you to be patient and inspired while waiting for the perfect timing of God for your life in order not to miss the will of God.
